When in a battle is says all Russian art. must be preplotted for the game. Does that mean have to plot all of the art. before the game begins. Or just plot the art. three turns before it comes in on the battle field. Just need some clarification,Andrew N Burton

My understanding is that Russian Arty is to be plotted before the game starts. This illustrates the extremely poor C3 abilities of the Russians during the war.

Hi Andrew,I was wondering where you saw this rule? The Core Rule Book or the WW2 Data Book Special Rules? While I cannot find any reference to this in the Core Rule Book, the WW2 Data Book Special Rules states that Russians must plot 3 turns in advance. Reference WW2 Data Book, Special Rules Chapter, page 53.7- 53.8, Soviet Artillery, " initial mission arrival is delayed by three turns (does not apply to mortars except for 120mm); delay is reduced to one turn when utilizing a TRP."If you read something else in the Core Rules please let me know where so that I may clarify for you.Thanks. :)
