I did a conversion of an Russian SU-152, I pulled out the 152 mm gun and replaced it with a 128 mm German gun. There were just a hand full ever converted in World War II. But the model made a cool conversion, and was wondering if could get a BPV for it.

Here are the stats you requested and I would use for your converted SU-152 with the German 128mm Gun.Vehicle Name: SU-152 SpecialYear: 45Main Weapon: 128mm L55Speed CC: 4Speed R: 6Class Vehicle: 5Combat Stats:OM1: 0OM2: -3OM3: noROF: 1Offensive Stats:AP: 21HE OV: 4*HE FP: 12*Defensive Stats:DM: +1DR: 1F DV: 13S DV: 7R DV: 7T DV: 2BPV: 188I would place this vehcile in the Soviet Tank Destroyer Section. I dropped the OM values by one for the gun due to the conversion and being Soviet. Soviet conversions are rarely as good as the original. Also, can you give me any references you have for this conversion so I may possibley add it to the WW2 Databook? :)

Well for me I got a SU-152 and a Jag Tiger form GHQ. What you do next is to file the section off smooth and then what I did was that I took some putty. I put the putty on the section where the gun goes and built up the section. Then I took the tiger's gun and placed it into the putty and filled in the gaps. Then smoothed the area out and there you have a conversion of the SU-152 special.

Actually Andrew, I am looking for a reference (book or website) that the Russians ACTUALLY made such a vehicle. I have never heard of this before.

The conversion is found in an old Ospery Book, it had a huge section of what kind of conversions the Germans did in World War 2. For the war there was only like 10 were ever done. Was like an experiment and think some of them might have made it to see real battle. But was nothing on a large scale, and me and my friends like to do alot of what if games.Andrew Burton

Okay, I had a brain fart and added it to the Soviets, DOH! I will add (move) this to the Secret Weapon Add-On, Germans. I am moving it here since there were, at most, 10 made and they may not have even been in combat. The Secret Weapons Add-On is exactly for just this type of weapon. Thanks for your input!

Okay, my tables have been updated, correctly, with the SU-152 modified being added to the German ET in the Secret Weapons Add-On. The updated file has been posted to the Playtest Site. :)
