We're enjoying GQIII and it's got us interested in other naval periods. I'm wondering if there are plans for pre-dreadnought and Ironclads GQIII, and if not, what sets of rules are similar in play to GQIII so we might like them?

Currently, there are no plans for predreadnought or earlier GQIII variants. There was some very preliminary discussions regarding predreadnought modules for the Spanish-American War and Russo-Japanese War but those projects have been shelved indefinitely. As to what rules might be available, unfortunately, I really don't know of any that are similiar to GQIII. That said, there are several good rule sets on the market, such as David Manley's 'Fire When Ready'.We're enjoying GQIII and it's got us interested in other naval periods.
