Hi Kenny or John,I am not sure if you had emailed us the information or not.We were looking to get information for the Vietnam war (hetzer and myself).Would you suggest using Cold War Soviet troops and US information? With maybe slight change for VC.What we need is the following troops information:VC troops information...NVA troops information....ARVAN troops information....US troops information...(Army, and also Marines)Following Vehicle information:M-113 (Cav version and regualar version)...M-48 Walker Bulldog information...M-60A1 information...As much information on Helicopters used in this conflict as possible...Same for aircraft....(B-52, F-105, OV-10, A-1...etc.)T-55A....Type 59 MBT.....General Truck information (M-35, M42 Duster{think thats what it was called}...etc.)The main thing we are pretty much ready for is the troops information as of right now.Sean King:silly:

Sean,I have received and sent e-mailed from Rob (from your group) stating that I have some of the ET stats you are looking for. I requested a list so I can work on the vehicles you need. However I have not received the e-mail.One thing... There is no AFV called M-48 Walker Bulldog. It's either an M48 Patton or M-42 Walker Bulldog. Which one do you need? (Probably the M-48?) Also the M-42 Duster is a Self-Proppled Anti-Aircraft vehicle with twin 40mm cannons.I've already started an ET for you guys, but need an accurate list to complete. Thanks

Any ideas how to rate infantry stands that have RPG's?I thought that I would use MP with some of my 15mm Peter Pig AK-47 troops. Thanks,John Kelly

I would utilize the RPG like the German Panzerfaust. Add a number to each stand (1-3). What ratings are you looking for? Infantry stats with AK-47s, TQ stats? Stats for the RPGs? All of the above? :) Let me know and I'll see what I can do for you.

In response to my own post a couple of years ago...

Don't forget the Ontose... 4 recoiless rifles...

There were actually 6 recoiless rifles, not 4. My thanks to R. Lee Ermy and Mail Call for the info!

I would have infantry stands armed with an AK-47 (or equivalent) with some stands having a LMG or RPG. I think I can work it all out now based on your suggestion.I might also try downsizing each stand to a fireteam. Then I think that I would incorporate some of the penalties assigned to squads for suffering one hit so that 1 fireteam more or less equals a squad with one hit.John Kelly

Instead of using a downgraded (1-hit) stand, create an assault rifle support stand. With an AR support stand you could add an RPG as an inherrant weapon like we would create a bazooka weapon team and/or you could use my other idea as I mentioned earlier of adding 1-3 RPGs to a squad stand as the Germans used the Panzerfaust. Here are the German Assault Rifle, the Assault Rifle w/MG34 and the Assault Rifle Support Stand specs which would be very nearly the same for the AK-47 squad as we have genericized the infantry weapons a bit (note that the Russian LMG stats may be slighly lower, but without checking my stats I can't be totally sure - I am at work ;) ): Posted Image
