Gentlemen

Let me lay out a situation.

A spread of 4 torpedoes are on their first run and reach a target.  The hit number for that range is 1-7.  The shooter rolls 1D12 and rolls a 3 which indicates one torpedo hit on the target.  The shooter now is allowed to roll for a second hit as the initial roll was below the original number of torpedoes in the spread.  The  shooter will use the same torpedo hit range that he used for the initial hit(1-7) and will add 1 to his second die roll.  The shooter rolls an eight which means that the rest of the torpedoes miss and continue their run.

On the second turn of the game, the 3 remaining torpedoes run and hit another target.  The question I have is that does the shooter check the original 4 torpedo column at the new range and roll a 1D12 and add 1 to the roll to determine a hit on the new target or does he check the 3 torpedo column at the new range and roll a 1D12 with no addition to determine a hit on the new target?

Thanks in advane

Adam

we play it like this on the second target and subsequent targets

"check the 3 torpedo column at the new range and roll a 1D12 with no addition to determine a hit on the new target"

"I wish to have no Connection with any Ship that does not Sail fast for I intend to go in harm's way.
