I purchased the ships in 1:6000 for the Argentine navy thinking I was getting the WWI navy when I in fact mistakenly ordered the WWII version. No problem; its kind of neat little navy and then I realized that while I could probably make do with the ship cards provided for the WWI era veterans I could not find anything for the newer cruisers and destroyers. Can anyone help? I'm looking for ship cards for the cruisers; Almirante Brown, Veinticinco de Mayo & La Argentina as well as the destroyers Cervantes, Juan de Garray, Mendoza, Tucuman & La Rioja, According to Worth the Buenos Aires class are basically modified British G's so I figure I can just rename some G ship cards and that will take care of them.

A South American Supplement (covering Argentina, Brazil and Chile) is in the works and should be released within the next 2 months.

Has there been any progress on SDS for the WWII era Argentine Navy?

Stalled at this time due to an outbreak of "real life" for the primary editor.  Hopefully we'll get back on track with this soon (but exactly when, I can't really say).

I'm really looking forward to them.

In the interim I understand the De Mayo class cruisers were modified Trento class built in Italy. And the cruiser La Argentina was a modified Arethusa class built in Britain. It seems reasonable that the De Mayo class cruisers would use the Regia Marina gunnery chart for their Italian made 7.5" and 3.9" guns while La Argentina would use the RN gunnery table for her British made 6" and 4" guns. The real question is whose torpedoes are they using, British or Italian or a combination of both?

The destroyers don't seem to pose a problem as they were all copies of British designed destroyers (even if some cases they were originally designed for Spain by the Brits). It seem very likely they were using British 4.7" guns and British torpedoes.

I'd love to hear Lonnie chime in on this as I figure that is pretty sure to be right. I'll have to ad-hoc SDS for now, but knowing  what gunnery and torpedo charts to use would make the interim fix work.

At this point, the ship logs, CRTs, aircraft stats and small craft stats have all been finalized.  As to the specifics, I can't comment as I do not have the logs and CRTs.  But very generally speaking, you're correct.

Thanks. I'll go with my adhoc for now and await the supplement.
