Just got this in the mail yesterday and did a quick pickup of Hipper's BCs vs Beatty's big cats.

Game flows quick and smoothly with reasonable historicity.

I have laminated the data cards and charts. Use a dry erase marker and you're set to go…

Have already ordered the supplement as well.

Very very nice game system

.

I may have found the system I will be using for the big Jutland game at Texicon next year.

43 of the 58 BB/BC at Jutland already painted up and ready to go. DAMN these Navis 1/1250 are expensive!!!

It will be in Hurst Texas in Dallas. http://texicon.net/

I had a good friend that passed away last year, left me some Superior and Navis and I repainted them since he was not able and also gave him my word that I would have his ships in action at the Centennial of Jutland.

Since last September I have been slowly collecting all of the capital ships that I need. Pete at Alnavco has been very helpful helping me fill in the gaps (Steve only had German ships).

I have been a SK5 player for many years, but it is too granular for the size of Jutland.

I did research and looked on BGG, TMP, and other places and the consensus seemed to be FAI for large scale capability with reasonable accuracy. The other options had the capability but not enough realism or "crunchiness".

FAI just seems to hit the sweet spot and the game moves very smoothly.

Jutland in 1:1250, I really want to see that. I have the ships for 1:6000, but 1:1250 is just an awesome idea. I'm committed to a Enfilade 2016 in Olympia in late May. I'll have to check my budget and see if I can swing another con that close in time.
