As some may have discovered, there have been a few changes made to the Core Rules Private Download Library. All of the "old" files have been moved to their own sub-folder and a new "MP Core Revised" folder has been created.I will be publishing individual chapters and files to this folder as they are completed for the new Revised Core Rules. All of the Basic and Advanced chapters have been posted. The Drop-Ins will start being added over the weekend. This is to be considered a "semi-official" announcement. A few odds-n-ends are still being worked out so a file or two may be updated between now and the "official" announcement. I will post here when a file has been changed, just in case you need to download it again. The "goal" is to have the Revised Core Rules finished and published before Thanksgiving ... or November 23rd ... 2006. The "official" announcement will be made once all the files have been published to the website. Please feel free to post questions and/or comments.NOTE: Access to the Private Download Library is restricted to those who have purchased and registered the Mein Panzer Core Rules.

Two files have been modified as follows:MARKERS - If you've downloaded this file you really don't need to download again. The "Cover Fire" markers were removed (they are no longer needed) and replaced with extra "Pinned" markers.TEMPLATES - This file has has several changes and you may want to download this one again. The "Area Template" has been renamed the "Spotting Template" and all but the outer oval has been removed. Also, the three different bomb templates have been combined into one single nested template. This should make it easier to use. Finally, we've added a second flamethrower template.... and just a heads up ... the Advanced Game Mechanics chapter will be updated very shortly and I'll detail that in another post when the file has been uploaded.Enjoy !!

Hello Everyone,There should be a lot more posted throughout the day today. However, I will not get everything posted before the holiday as planned. I've been fighting computer issues and work has slowed to a crawl. I will be out of town for the holiday (and net-less as well) but will finished up the missing pieces while I'm away. Hopefully MP Core Revised will be totally posted the first of next week. The plan is to wait a few days after everything is posted to give the playtesters a chance to find errors, and then we'll make them "official".Enjoy !!

Almost There !!I just finished uploading most all the drop-ins plus the two scenarios contained in the core rules. Below is a list of what has not been posted and a status report on them.Chapter 09 (ET Help) - This chapter will include all the poop on the equipment tables, markers, and templates. "Might" be posted today, probably no until Sunday.Chapter 10 (Artillery) - This one is still being updated with Playtester feedback. It will be uploaded today.Chapter 16 (Air Support) - Also being updated with Playtester feedback. It too will be posted today.Sample Chapters - All the sample ETs for WW1 up through Modern have not been completed. These will take some time so will certainly not be posted until Sunday or Monday.Advanced Playsheet - Probably Sunday or Monday.----------Chapters 1 through 8 have been "finalized", so there will be no further changes to rules. They are still being proofed, so there may be typo changes. All the Drop-In Chapters are being reviewed by the Playtest team so there may be some minor rule tweaks to be made. I'll certainly keep you posted if any changes are made.----------That's it for now!

Some minor fixes to the following chapters:Chapter 7 - Advanced Game MechanicsChapter 10 - ArtilleryChapter 12 - MoraleChapter 14 - TransportsChapter 15 - StructuresChapter 16 - Air SupportAlso re-uploaded the templates file. I added a template for 250# bombs and made some of the text bold for better printing. There will be a major update to the infantry chapter shortly. My goof. I uploaded an old copy that missed quite a few fixes and changes.

Over the past week many of the posted chapters have had minor tweaks, spelling corrections, etc. As of today, the following are still pending: Chapter 9, Sample Chapters, Advanced Playsheet, and the Table of Contents. Everything else is final and "OFFICIAL". The pending items will be posted by the end of the weekend.

My apologies, but I just uploaded a new Infantry chapter. I completely forgot to add the Generic Infantry Tables. That has now been fixed.

Hey Jon,Noticed some problems with the WW1 Tables. I know, just what you wanted to hear, right? The Equipemnt Table: the line that goes between the DR and the F armor values is only showing up in the white or unhighlighted rows. The Aircraft Table: their are two lines seperating the Load Outs columns that is only showing up on the white or unhighlighted rows. There shouldn't be any lines there. For both of these problems I zoomed in to 400% on both tables for all three files, so unless they are printing and not showing then there is an oops somewhere. That's funny, I didn't have hardly any problems with Word getting the tables converted and formatted? :kiss:Damn Word Perfect! No, it can't be that must be Acrobat...

Thanks Bob, my fault. WP prints it just fine, however I do believe WP is part of the problem. The problem only happens with hairlines and only if I put the line on the RIGHT side of the cell. Seems to work ok if I put the line on the LEFT side of the cell ... go figure.Anyway, better to catch it now than after I do a dozen of 'em.

WW1 France and WW1 Germany have been fixed. WW1 British will have to wait until tonight ... I don't have that file with me.I also fixed Chapter 18 ... it had the wrong chapter name in the header.

I have just posted the WW2 Databook Sample Chapter for the core rules. Instead of posting each country as a separate file (like I did with WW1) I posted all four sample countries in one file. When I fix the WW1 British file tonight I will replace the three posted files with one file as well.Still to come: Cold War, Ultra Modern, Advanced Playsheet ... and when everything is done ... a Table of Contents.Sorry this is taking longer than anticipated. Converting the sample TO&E to the new Squad Level infantry rules is taking more time than I thought.
