Nic,Fair point. Originally we had a more complex table which reflected the seasons as well as locations. That was dropped as part of the final streamlining to make it cleaner and easier to use for the majority of gamers, based on playtest results.A simple way to reflect seasonal variations is to shift the weather die roll result for determining Force conditions at the top of the WEATHER table one column RIGHT for winter months and shift one column LEFT for summer months. Use the table without shifts for spring and fall months. The SQUALLS table already has a seasonal distinction. This shift would also be applied when using the WEATHER CHANGE table at the bottom of chart 8A.Give this a try and let us know what you think. If player responses indicate it is effective, we can add it as an optional rule. Or, let us know if you have a different suggestion. Let's share our good ideas.
