Hi, What my question is can an Stuka loaded with bombs in one acitvation phase double move and while moving strafe a unit and at the end of its movement drop all of its bombs. For me been lettting the players do a strafe or drop the bombs not both becase I was trying to play the air craft like the tanks some what. Was allowing a double move and strafe but you could not drop your bombs. So am I correct or not, just been having some complaints and wanting conformation.Andrew Burton

Hey Andrew,Good question and I'm surprised I didn't clarify it better in the rules ... thanks for catching it.I will get the input from the playtesters but here what my "intention" was.You must always take your bonus move (which you no doubt have already picked up on). Your Standard Action is taken at some point during this movement. Or, you can (just like tanks) move again for your standard action to get a bonus move.However, I had intended to allow strafing (or air-to-air MG fire) as a "Fire-on-the-Move" action ... meaning you can both move AND strafe for your Standard Action. Firing missiles, dropping bombs, spotting, etc, can NOT be combined with movement during a Standard Action.This is not an "official" ruling, but simply what my intention was when I wrote the rules. I will bring this up with the playtesters and get their opinions before making an official call.Thanks!

The angle of attack for bombing precludes a strafing run at the same time. If you wish to move your Standard Action and bomb, that is possible, but suffers the OM3 penalty to the bombing attack.So, no strafing and bombing together, since they are discrete attacks. They both can be OM3, in my view. Likely to miss, but them is the breaks.Gregory
