Just looked at the sample pages posted on the Yahoo Group. When will these be available (all ships, not just the few inthe samples)?? Mal states in his posting that they are all completed just waiting on ODGW to release. Will this be a PDF or printed item??Thanks!! --Kenny

Kenny,Mal is, of course, free to say what he wishes, but in the opinion of both me and the author of the rules there are still issues to be decided about the ship logs before they are released as a product that will bear ODGW's name. When those issues are resolved, ODGW will make the decision about publishing the product.Cheers,Gregory

Kenny,Having been working on this project for over two years I am fed to the teeth with it. Playtesters and invited individuals who've been given some to test are delighted with them. All WW2 navies are completed. Some files are being repaired after some corruption problems. The finalized full colour logs I've now done are the last submission I intend to make. If ODGW and the author are not satisfied with those the project will have to lapse, or perhaps there is another way to handle it.Mal.Wright.

All,ODGW and Mal Wright have come together, and we will be publishing his Ship logs in the near future. We have solved all the issues that blocked publication, and are moving forward. We expect this to be a great aid to all General Quarters players.CinC

This is good to hear. I was impressed with the sample cards that were posted on the YaHoo group. Since I'm a newbie in GQ3 I'm looking for all the play aids I can get. Is there any time line as to the publication?? 6 months, 1 year, etc??I'm also glad to see this thread open again. I was distressed when I saw to it was lock out from receiving additional postings.Thanks!!--Kenny

Kenny,We have no date set for publication, other than it is a project currently under development. As for the thread being locked, witness Mal's posting as indication that it was open, and that at least this Admin did not lock it.CinC

Work is continuing on editing the extensive ship logs I have completed for GQIII. I would hope that we will see the first sets available to the public soon, via pdf files from Old Dominion Gameworks. Its been a huge job. Quite massive actually. But I can see a light at the end of the tunnel at last. Once they are published I can spend my time on my WW2 Convoy games. One of that series is under thorough testing by overseas gamers and the results so far have been very good.
