Multiple Main Battery Hits

I was playing a game where the cruiser Good Hope over the course of the game took 5 main battery hits. The first 4 took destroyed the 2 main batteries. Is the 5th hit have no effect ?

Correct. Repeated hits in the same areas already destroyed have no effect on the integrity of the hull, and are ignored.Gregory
