I have a question about how many carriers the IJN can sortie in a CG mission. I can see that the rules clearly limit the number of CV they can sortie to 2, but I'm not clear from the wording of the rule that limitation applys to CVL or CVE. Our Ref's take on it is that the IJN can assign up to 4 carriers per sortie as long no more then 2 CV are assigned. This allows the IJN to sortie all of its carriers in 2 CG missions and that makes sense to me; but is it right?

The A/C Capacity Chart lists the ordance for the Val as M; is this the only place that determines the bomb load for a plane?
