When i spot tank and under template there are also other units for ex. infantry - they are also spotted? Tanks are easier to spot than infantry.

Hi Nexus6,

No the infantry may not be spotted. The spotting number for each unit under the template must be determined so each vehicle will have a different spotting number than infantry, guns or even other vehicles (this is because the DM of each vehicle, gun or infantry may be different). Determine the spotting number for each unit under the template then roll one die. This die roll will apply to each unit's spotting number on the spotting table.

Hope this helps! :)

I wonder why ther is modifier for target firing .  If target is firing it is not longer hidden, right?

Another question - if spotter is recon vehicle so i should use modifiers: -1 (spoter is vehicle) and +1 (spoter is reccon), what makes result 0  ?

That depends on the target and circumstances.

Vehicles,  page 5.5, 1st column, Spotting Vehicles section:

"If a hidden vehicle fires any of its weapons, including its machine guns, its position may be automatically given away. If there are enemy within LOS, and the firing vehicle is not camouflaged, it is spotted. Remove its HIDDEN marker. Camouflaged vehicles lose their hidden status only if they fire within 12", and LOS, of the enemy. Vehicles without camo lose their hidden status within 12" and LOS."

Guns, page 5.5, 2nd column, Spotting Guns section:

"Hidden guns, and their crew, are spotted if within 12". Otherwise, a hidden gun remains so even after it fires. Of course, there is a bonus on spotting checks if a weapon has fired."

Infantrypage 5.5, 2nd column, Spotting Infantry section:

"Hidden infantry are spotted if they fire within 12" and LOS of the enemy. Within 2" they lose hidden status."

To answer your next question, Yes. Spotting from a vehicle is typically restrictive and being a recon vehicle will negate that restriction, hence the -1 and +1 = 0. This is a game mechanic.
