It would be great if the individual file versions were printed on the pages. I have a hard time keeping track of my rules to make sure I am using the correct version or not.For example on the Advance reference card. I know a change was made to reflect -2 shaken on kill table instead of -2 suppressed. However, if I did not know of that change, I would have no knowledge that the older card I have is out of date or inaccurate. having somewhere on the reference card a change number such as arc 2.1.1 etc so that i can compare would help me to know if its time to download the updates and print them out. This would be helpful in all cases (individual core rules chapters, Databook chapters, Reference tools).

This is a good idea. We'll start adding a document version number to new updates. I'll get with Bob and discuss the best way to handle it, but we'll probably something like "v2.01" in the corner. So anything without a number will be our starting point and we'll add the version to an new update. Thanks for the suggestion!

This is a great idea. I might also recommend that we add a version number the download file name itself so it will be identifyable to all. :)

Ok ... here is what we're going to do. As new files are compiled and posted, we will add a version number as part of the page number. For example, Page 5.04.1 would be Chapter 5, Page 4, Version 1. Any chapter that does NOT have a version number will be assumed to be Version 1.When a chapter is updated, we will increase the version number by one. So if you see a document with ".2" as part of the page number (i.e. Version 2) and your copy has ".1" (or nothing at all) you will know there is a newer file available. We're starting this right now with all the scenarios being uploaded to the Scenario Repository. The initial files posted did not include the version, but I have gone back and added the version number and reposted the files. Thanks again for the suggestion !!
