Im using the 1/1800 War at Sea ships which is a far cry from 1/2400 scale ships. Will these rules work at this scale or is the ranges and movement scaleable for different sizes?Also how difficult are these rules compared to the old GQ 2nd edition rules?Im a little weary of spending money on a product I cant see.Ray:)

According to most players these rules are as easy as original General Quarters, just more complete and benefiting from greater accuracy due to new material being available. The info on this site under the General Quarters link, and opinions expressed elsewhere like TMP can help in forming an impression of the game. Finally the rules scale very well, the bonus files for the game on this site have gun charts pre-scaled for different scales, since many players have less space to play in. Any good naval rules set should scale up or down easily, and GQ is no exception.For 1:1800 scale the published scale of 1cm=100yds should work very well.
