Afternoon,Does anyone have a ship card for the Black Swan Class sloop from WWII. Looked through all the RN ship lists and can't find them.Any help appreciated.CheersIggy.

The basic ship logs do not include the Black Swan class (or, for that matter, any of the smaller escort types) due to space considerations. The Deluxe Logs do include these (Warning! shameless plug here!). What time of the war do you need the log? The Black Swans went through a lot of modifications, so it might be useful to narrow down the period of the war (posting the 1944 variant isn't much help if you need the 1939 variant!). Once I know that, I should be able to post a freebie log of the class sometime this weekend.

Hi Coastal,I have looked at buying the delux logs but not got round to it yet. Been really waiting to see if I can some more of the chaps at games club interested before investing more into it.The period of the engagement is Aug 42 till Dec 42. So if you have the data on the Black Swans for this period I would be grateful.CheersIggy.

Attached is the Ship Log of the Black Swan class from 1939 through 1945. I figured I'd include all the variants since a single log seemed so lonely! Good luck with the game!

thanks Coastal (i am the guy Iggy's playing)can i ask tho...do the deluxe logs for the german fleet include the Emden and Schleswig etc that arent in the basic logs???Cheers!

Yes, the Deluxe Logs do include the all the major ships (DDs and up) and their variants and many of the auxillary ships. Also included are many of the proposed but never built ships as well.

Hi Coastal,Many thanks for the information, think I will get the Delux logs and make your life easier.One question in reference to the Black Swan class, they loose sonar for float planes on later hulls? Seems abit strange for a small escort to suddenly be fitted out with float planes. Is this correct or just a typo?CheersIggy
