I understand that somewhere on this site there's a chart with the availability of Radar types for USN vessels. My buddy Ken and I need this for our TSC which is starting with Savo Island this Sunday. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

The radar information is on the ship profiles that come with the TSC package.

Thanks, but should clarify that I want the Radar Availability Table (RAT).
edit, friend got copy...

I don't know that the ship sheets that came with TSC are accurate for August '42, Savo Island, altho the Main Rule Book says that by mid '42 "radar was universal for Allied surface ships" p.1-15.

I should add that there are discrepencies, ie The Bagley's on the RAT state that they've R & RFC type '-', however the RAT says they didn't get it until "end '42", so is August count as "end '42" or not?

This link should get you there: http://www.odgw.com/...ability-tables/. Let us know how your Savo Battle goes.

The radar information on the TSC Ship Logs are specific to that time period, so would trump the information on the RAT table (which is more general). Getting specifc information on when a ship had a particular radar fit is, at best, difficult (and for the US, nearly impossible).

Same answer as coastal, the ship logs in TSC are specific to the period unlike the more general info given in the other ship logs and sources.
