Joe,
The operational boardgame is called, "A Glorious Chance: The Naval Struggle for Lake Ontario in the War of 1812." It made the cut for publication at Legion Wargames, and is in their queue for final artwork, final development and publication (if I were to guess, I'd say it'll ship 1st quarter of 2018).
You can preorder it here: http://www.legionwar...legion_AGC.html. The game is great for generating an endless variety of scenario setups that you can play with your miniatures.
If you're interested in the grand tactical rules and components, I've made them available as print-and-play downloadable files on the game's page on Boardgamegeek. Just go to the game page (https://boardgamegee...ke-ontario-1813), scroll down to the "files" section, and you'll see the grand tactical rules, charts, etc.
If you want historical scenarios, here's what I recommend: Download the living rules for GMT's tactical boardgame, Serpents of the Seas (http://www.gmtgames....inal-lowres.pdf). You'll find a number of good setups for the Battle of Lake Erie, as well as the various actions that took place on Lake Ontario, plus some 1814 what-ifs involving the larger ships that were launched then.
