The EAF took the 16th Cruiser Sentai as a CD reinforcement and sortied invasion convoys against Tarakan, Balikpapan and Banjermasin, all on Borneo in the Center Axis.
The Dutch sortied a sweep against the Center Axis out of Batavia.
TF5 sortied a sweep against the Eastern Axis out of Surabaya.
Force X took the Aussie destroyers as a CD reinforcement as well as Lamotte-Picquet and Le Terrible as normal reinforcements and could not sortie. Perth began her repairs.
TF5 out of Surabaya swung at air and missed in the Eastern Axis.
The Dutch got ambushed just before dawn and lost two of their PBs with the third heavily damaged.
