So here's a few Village scenics. Note the cool buildings done by .....ODGW's Tiny Terrain....oh....they don't make'em anymore. This one here was based on a 1/16" plexiglass plate. Tiny Terrain buildings and some hedge stuff bought at a local train hobby store where flocking and decomposed granite was found.Once again thing in modules for the basing, 2x3, 3x3, 3x6, etc.... The chateau here is made by GHQ along with the stone walls and portal. Based on plexiglass and painted by my painter in Canada.By the way....for those in the US seeking a painter, below is his website, he's very reasonable.http://members.shaw.ca/legionsivhire/ Posted Image

Just another sample of the smaller size base, same as the one above but a 2x3 versus a 3x6. Also keep in mind how the roads line up, in case you want a continiung band running through a collective of modules. Posted Image

Here's a close up of one that uses the reverse side of a wood laminate material sample. One might find these at a local Home Depot or good size hardware store. The trellis has a nice effect. Posted Image

If anyone is curious or even interested. For basing the pic below helps to show a useful process for basing infantry and gun stands.1. Start with super glueing a flat head nail to a penny and stick that into a foam block.2. Spray paint the pennies with whatever color you desire, I use a flat olive.3. Once dry, spread a little elmers (white) glue over the top.4. Sprinkle the flocking and or grass over the top and dab with finger tip. Posted Image

Here's some more current terrain. The train station itself was bought from Wargamer Products. Then mounted it on plastic styrene and added a couple other elements from "Plastruct". The paint job is done by "Legions IV Hire" out of Canada. Posted Image

Extended factory, half done. Most of this is putting pieces together from "Plastruct" and Balsa wood elements mounted onto polystyrene. Once again painted by "Legions IV Hire". Posted Image

Recently we had a battle that took place in that fine city of Stalingrad. While there were many buildings made to fill an area of 30"x30" only few of them were done with a little TLC. The kitty litter went a long ways for the rubble. Just add some black, grey and brown/red spray paint shake and repeat. The buildings are a pain but, if you have the ability to draw it up in autocad then there are some places, I know, that can laser cut the profile in mass quantity cheaply...windows and all.
