Greetings!As some of you who are familiar with ODGW know, we are very interested in supporting our games, and open to new ideas. Over the years before General Quarters 3rd ed. was published, many noteworthy modifications and variants to the rules were written. This is all to the good, and we would like it to continue. We want everyone to know that we encourage any registered users who wish to share their ideas with the General Quarters community to post their House Rules here. 1) add additional row to gunfire CRT - 3000 yards. Ex. for 8" 1+-4 BB (yes, BB )each penetration schould be one level better at that row.In additional, equivalent hits should have 1/4 value, ex. 1/4 for BB row for 8"similiar 1/4 in BC row for 6" etc.2) additional "BA aircraft" column in Torpedo Damage. Now at BA we can't shift left 1 colum. Effect - 5 torpedu hits is enough to synk Yamato.3) Armoured ships should have 2 rows of hull box to add tilt rules.ex - Yamato sunk after 10 torpedo hits into port and capsized. Musashi received 20 torpedos 7/13 into port/starboard and sunk after several hours .. - It's only idea now - need a bit of work4) I don't knoe proper english word, but at start gun fight several salvos was use to aim fire. (Ex bismarck 3dt salvo was over agains PoW 6th). In that case, US NAvy and Kriegsmarine should up 1 row at first salvo, Royal Navy up 2 row , rest up 3 row . All for distance >18 000. Closer - normal fire.
