We understand some folks still have not received their copy of General Quarters 3rd Edition, and wish to explain the reasons behind the delay. Our initial plan was to ship pre-orders the first or second week of September, but, due to a severe delay in printing, that did not occur. The problems receiving printed product delayed many orders for well over a month. During this time, orders continued to come in from stores, distributors, and gamers. By the time we received everything we had ordered from the printer, we were sold out and a backlog was starting to accumulate. We placed a re-order with the printer, and hope they are able to ship our order in the next couple of weeks. All pre-orders have shipped. Orders to U.S.A. addresses should have been received by now. Any domestic purchasers who have not received their copy please contact me immediately at cinc@odgw.com. International orders were shipped about two weeks ago via U.S. Postal Service Global Priority Mail. However, those shipments are not showing up in their tracking system. The USPS has been contacted and they are working on tracking those packages. We will keep everyone posted on the status of those orders via this website. If necessary, we will re-ship all missing orders as soon as we have new inventory. Hopefully the orders are in transit and were simply held up for some reason. Everyone who has placed an order should have Download Library online access to the Registered Users GQIII area. From there you can download the entire product as well as lots of bonus materials. If you do not have access, again please email cinc@odgw.com immediately. We are still taking orders. Those ordering a hard copy of the rules will receive access to the online area of the website, usually within 24 hours, and their hard copy will ship as soon as they arrive. We apologize for the rough start in getting GQIII out the door and into your hands. But more than simply explaining and apologizing, we are actively addressing both the printer and shipping issues. Specifically, we are investigating other printers and printing options, and we have completed negotiations with a well-regarded company to handle our shipping and related responsibilities. Our hope is the difficulties ODGW and its customers have experienced in the past are not repeated. We appreciate everyone's patience, and will be offering everyone who pre-ordered a discount on a future purchase. If you have any comments or suggestions, we encourage you to visit our website and post them on our forum. We will address all of them.Sincerely,CinC

Greetings shipmates! Here is an update on progress of the remaining wayward General Quarters rules and their journeys to their destination ports:[ul][li]It is unclear how or why, but the US Postal Service had difficulties with some of the international orders. We now believe some did not ship, but do not know which. We have heard that some have arrived in Australia and the UK. For anyone, anywhere, who purchased a copy prior to 12th October and has not received their copy of GQIII by Monday, 6th November, please notify us and we will send the rules out to you again. We will not re-ship through the same local Virgina post office with which ODGW has had legendary difficulties, but will re-ship through our new shipping partner (see below).[/li][li]Please include your order number to speed along the process of sending any missing rules.[/li][li]Anyone attending Fall-In, the HMGS convention being held in Gettysburg, PA, next weekend, can pick up their copy from the ODGW staff there. Please let me know who wishes to do that no later than Wednesday, 8th November, so we can verify your information.[/li][li]Orders for GQIII placed on or around 12th October did not ship because we were out of stock. Anyone who purchased during that time should contact us if they wish to pick up their order at Fall-In in Gettysburg. Otherwise we expect them to ship by Wednesday, 8th November.[/li][li]Old Dominion GameWorks has contracted with Scale Creep Miniatures to handle all our future shipping. Scale Creep has a well-deserved reputation for reliable and prompt service. With this partnership, we expect our shipping difficulties are solved.[/li][/ul]ODGW understands how frustrating the wait and delays have been for our valued customers. We felt this as well, and it has been costly for us in a number of ways. However, we have not been complacent, and have actively sought solutions to the problems we encountered. Our efforts to bring our service to the level we need to service our customers will certainly benefit all of us.As always, should you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at cinc@odgw.com directly, or post here.Cheers,CinC
