I have played this scenario several times and it is a good one for learning the basics of the game. The conditions were very clear (20 miles visibility) with very little sea running, so I'd put the visibility at 40000yds and the sea state at 2. For the ships, the logs already have Graf Spee and Ajax. For Achilles, use a twin of Ajax (Achilles was a sister ship of Ajax) and for Exeter, use York (Exeter was a sister ship of York). Deploy the two forces at maximum visibility (your choice as to formation for the British) and have at it.Has anyone actually made a scenario for River Plate that they could share? I know it seems simplistic but when you're reading the rules for the first time (with no teacher around) and trying to absorb and pull all the jargon and minutiae together, it's pretty overwhelming. Thanks!

Thanks! What about morale for both sides?

I'd rate both sides as Regular. Both sides had long serving crews, but no real combat experience. Thanks! What about morale for both sides?
