The rulebook indicates that there are supposed to be two campaigns on the website for GQ3 - 'Mare Nostrum' and 'Operation Land Crab'. In the downloads sections I see 4 scenarios, but not the campaigns.Are they hiding? Not available for some reason? Removed? Or what?I'd love to see them, so hoping they are around somewhere.Thanks.

No, they're not hiding, just delayed. What with Fleet Action Imminent, Amendment 1 and the normal day to day of work and all, the scenarios got pushed back. From the last conversation I had with Lonnie, these should be the next thing for final development.

Hi thereI see that the Aleutians campaign has now been posted on the site. Any news on the Nare Nostrum campaign promised in the rulebook ?I've recently obtained GQ3 and it seems like a great improvement on GQ2 - can't wait to try it out ! Just waiting on my ships arriving !I played GQ2 with some friends around 20 years ago (when young, free and single) but then marriage and kids came along and I only recently tried to get back into it. I did previously have quite a selection of vessels but I think my good lady must have binned them when we moved house in the past so I'm having to rebuild from scratch.Overall I like how the new rules look - especially the national gunnery charts !Well done to Lonnie and all the playtesters !Joe

Thanks Joe,I certainly hope you have lots of interesting engagements with GQ III for WW II and FAI for WW I.As you mentioned, the Aleutians Campaign has been posted for download a while back. I have had Mare Nostrum on the backburner because we're finishing several new projects which I think will be of interest to most. As with all of us, it's always a question of balancing priorities to fit things in the time available. I have given priority to the new projects as they expand the scope for simulation. I will update my Mare Nostrum files from an obsolete playtesting format to the current Amendment 1 level when time permits. In the interim, I appreciate your patience.LONNIE
