Why make peopke pay for what is already free?Dr. Nierhorster's site has tons of TO&E for WWII and most people can easily convert them to Mein Panzer very easily. If anyone is interested in his site it is on orbat.com in the free section or you can go straight to it at:http://niehorster.orbat.com/000_admin/000oob.htm

Looking for TO&E Requests. Once the Core Rules have been revised, I will be reworking the WW2 Data Book to conform to the new Equipment Tables. During that rework, I will be adding some TO&E.I also plan on releasing sometime in 2006 a "TO&E Repository", which will be online only for an annual subscription fee. The Repository will have TO&E in Mein Panzer format.I'm looking for a "wish list" of TO&E to include in one or the other. If you are aware of any TO&E resources, both one the web or in print, post those here too. The more information we can gather, the better our Repository will be.Thanks!

Well that is good that you did as exactly he had asked the more the better. As for me I will pay the annual subscription. It helps to keep this site up and running if not more products coming out.Sean:woohoo:

Most of Orbat.com is a pay for content site. Sides there are those of us who aren't interested in only WWII TOE... (Heresy!!) <grin>

This has always been one of my favorite TO&E links ... didn't know he moved it to orbat.com though. Looks like his stuff is still free although most of orbat.com is subscription. Either way, I'm glad it still exists. And what you say is true ... you can easily convert real TO&E to Mein Panzer. If you wish to do so, that's great. The idea of a subscription TO&E site is for those who don't want to or don't have time to. And while Niehorster's list is very nice, it is far from complete. So I hope our planned site will offer more, especially the obscure stuff (I have some TO&E for a German Searchlight Battalion I'm planning to post, although I have no idea who would actually use it.)Either way, please continue to post websites like this. And if you want to make your own TO&E, go for it! If you have any questions on how to handle something in MP, just ask. I'll be happy to explain how (or why) I do things.

Well I have to say I absolutely agree with you.Dr. N's site is good and most of Orbat is subscription. However after reading my post again, I realize it sounds like I am questioning your direction. My apologies, I was attempting to get people to see the value in your databooks. I posted late last night... errr... early this morning.Especially, since hunting in archives, field manuals, Janes ($2000 last time I looked), etc... can be costly and time consuming.

Hey, no worries. And there's nothing wrong with questioning my direction anyway. I think you'll find (if you haven't already) we're one of the most flexible and responsive game companies out there. So if we do something that sucks, I sure hope you'll tell us!Orbat.com is actually not a good place to look for TO&E, other than Dr. N's list. I subscribed for a short time to their TO&E section and was quickly disappointed. Not only was there actually very little there, but what was there was sometimes incomplete and nothing seemed to be formatted consistently. They also offered other areas to subscribe to but other than what they make available for free, I can’t speak for the quality of those areas.I “hope” our TO&E Repository will be more complete (with everyone’s help) and all documents will be formatted equally. So not only am I open to what TO&E to include, I’m open to other ideas on the Repository as well.
