Do artillery limbers or casons, or horse holders etc., have any melee strength? Would these units just be eliminated if they were contacted during a charge?

They do not have any combat value. We typically say any "equipment" that you come into contact with has been captured. Horse Holder stands would just be removed, although the horse would be considered captured as well.Depending on how you determine victory for your games, the capture of equipment could be a factor.
