the tag for the 8"+ is between the 10" and the 8"
not sure which column to use. And why it is in between them.

The 8"+ tag is to indicate that Italian 8"+ guns have a max range of 34,000 yards (with air spot), where as the "normal" Italian 8" guns have a max range of 30,000 yards. It looks like the tag was placed where it is so one can still read the 34,000 yds entry.
