Who's going, who's not?

 

Kenny, I see you're running a NATO/Warsaw Pact dust-up on Friday afternoon...can you save me a spot?

Sure, The ODGW crew will be there all weekend.

 

I have a little confession to make....   The scenario will change a little.  It'll be Arab/Israeli opponents.   Same scenario just diff geography.  <grin>

 

HMGS had GM game submission deadlines before I thought the new AIW Databook would be ready.   I've missed so many dates in the past I just quit setting them.   So as it worked out the book is done and will be available at H-Con.  Thus the scenario change.  The Pony Express (USPS) has it and I should have them in my hands tomorrow!!    Woot!!

 

Either way the game scenario is just a simple meeting engagement between forces trying to control a crossroad.   (Full disclosure, I stole the idea from a fellow ODGW GM who uses the same scenario for Historical Battlelnes!!  LOL)

 

I'm running the scenario on both Friday and Saturday.   Open invite to all to come around and chat Mein Panzer!

I hope you all have fun at Historicon 2023.  I will be attending Southwest Con and running a Mein Panzer Demo Game called "Cruisin' for a Bruisin'" set in North Africa in 1942.  This will be a game designed to get new players into the game.

Well, I didn't make it in time to join Kenny's Bloody Crossroads MP game, but I did manage to swing by an hour or so beforehand and spend a few minutes to check everything out and meet him in person. After all this time talking in the ether, it was nice to connect faces with keyboards:

I'm sure it went off swimmingly, and the Arab/Israeli supplement looks great BTW.

 

The day at Historicon was terrific, but sat through too many lectures and missed out on some gaming. I did a great job of keeping the wallet in the pocket for the most part, so that was an upside. Looking forward to Fall In! in November.
