The T35/85’s began to move towards the bridge, now engulfed in smoke.

The Panthers finally dealt with Soviets on the opposite low hill – they could now move towards the bridge without worrying about their exposed vulnerable flanks.

Some Panthers became inspired! But it was too late as the time was nearly up.

Turn 12 end of the game. The Soviets were victorious. This was the scene at the end of the battle. The Soviets were just too quick and mobile for the Germans. The Panthers were poorly placed, and when the smoke obscured the battle their reduced visibility virtually sidelined these key units for several turns allowing the Soviets to occupy the German side of the river.Final Score: Germans 0 Soviet 14.

"The German general of this command was later taken out and summarily shot for incompetance." - The Furor's Evening News   Excellent job, and, as usual, great AAR and pics Sacha. :) You really need to get your butt out here for Historicon so we gab and game! ;)

DOOHHHH! My most sincere of apologies Dave! It has been a very hectic last couple of weeks for me and I write this as I am resting comfortably in a hotel right near the US Air Force Museum in Dayton OH (I am finally on vacation!). It is a compliment to be compared to Sacha also, for the quality of your game, pics and AAR. It would be great if you could also join us for a Historicon Convention too! :)

No worries Bob - would love to get over to the Historicon, never been to the US. however the possibility seems remote at the present. Main reason is that I am having a log cabin build in my garden as my gaming room - that has pretty much eaten all hobby budget for the year!
