Hello! I saw the Campaign Pack: Korean War available online and I’d like to know if it is compatible with the latest version of the core rules？

Also, are there any official rules or house rules for snipers?

Hello.  Glad to have you onboard and playing Mein Panzer.

 

There is a little confusion on my part when you reference the Campaign Pack: Korean War.   There was a small (very) booklet once upon a time 17+ years ago that was called this however, that booklet was officially discontinued and a full fledge Korean War Databook (with updated stats) was published in 2013 and updated in 2015 (Night fighter stats).  I would recommend you get the Databook if you are looking to run scenarios in that period.

 

As to your question(s)

 

Yes, the original Campaign Pack: Korean War can be used with the current MP rules.

 

Snipers, I believe there is a Sniper Team Support stand entry in the databook.  I will have to review this evening to confirm and to check if any special rules have been created for them.  Stay tuned.

Hello, Kenny. I saw this pack on the Noble Knight website. I already have the Korean War data book, and I’m mainly interested in the campaign rules.

OK I understand.   Noble Knight sells new / old out of print games.   So a discontinued booklet is in their wheelhouse.

 

Back in the early 2000s Jon Coulter had interest in developing campaign rules.  This really never got off the ground and more focus was put into full fledged databooks for different wars / eras.  As far as I can recall  there are no campaign rules in the Core Rule book.

 

So while the Campaign Pack does exist, you might be disappointed with the lack of true campaign rules.
