Working on Infantry stands for Arab Israeli and after looking at the order of battle for Israel, Egypt, and Syria 1967 I'm wondering how best to setup my stands and make sure that it also compliments the rules instead of working against them.

They are all pretty similar in their unit organization. When doing WWII I basically had a base with either 4 or 5 miniatures (6mm) representing a squad. I had 3 squads and a platoon HQ stand representing one platoon. It was understood that if the squad has an LMG it was integral to the unit and didn't have to be represented in the firgures on the squad stand.

In the example of AI orgs. each platoon has

Egypt

  • 3 AR squads
  • 3 LMG (Will be integral to the squad stands)
  • 3 RPG-2
  • Optional 1 82mm B10

Syria

  •
  • 3 AR squads
  • 2 LMG (Will be integral to the squad stands)
  • 2 RPG-2

Israel

  • 3 AR/SMG squads
  • 6 SAW

I'm not sure how best to represent RPG, perhaps as support stands?

Since there are no 1967 rules yet, not sure if their will be a squad stand that has 2 SAW's incorporated into their firepower. Looking for some feedback.

Also not sure in more modern rules, if SAW was treated same as GPMG (in WWII) and incorporated into the stands.
