There are many features of GQ3 that I like in naval wargame rules, so I decided to see what I could do with them for addressing the Russo-Japanese War. This was my first test and it went better than I had hoped. More work is needed but the possibility is there. As GQ3 hadn't (yet) ventured into this earlier period, I felt this was the best place to post the first AAR.
