I recently ordered the core rules and WWII databook. The databook looks pretty comprehensive, but I was surprised that the Soviet BK-1124 gunboats weren't included...these were the armored boats that mounted the T-26 or T-34 turrets (or rockets); they were pretty common and fulfilled a variety of roles, including fire support along riverbanks, supporting river crossings, guarding bridges and attacking enemy bridges, and delivering supplies to cut-off troops. They had a draft of less than a meter so could navigate pretty small rivers.
Any chance these could be added, or are there instructions somewhere on how to create entries for naval equipment? I have some books and other data if that would be helpful.
