Hi,I was wondering if anyone could do a sample turn for ABL along the lines of the one done for MP?I'm thinking about getting ABL but since I can't have the rules in my hands to peruse, something like this would be great. Also what is the standard basing for ABL and what is the figure and ground scale for the game?Joe

That would be a great contribution. Understand that it took some time for Trotsky to put the sample turn together, but it is definitely a worthy goal for us to try to duplicate it for Historical Battlelines — indeed, all our games.Regarding ground scale, here is what the rules say:

Ground scale will vary depending upon the miniature scale used. However, 1" = 25 yards was used for the base at 15mm, and adjusted proportionally for the other figure scales. One infantry or cavalry stand, usually 3-4 figures, represents a company where one figure equals 20 real soldiers. One artillery stand is represented by a single cannon and equals a battery section in the game. Two or more stands are combined to represent full batteries.
