Great looking report – models, pictures, text, layout all first class.Excellent objective and victory condition – a refreshing change from just gaining victory locations. The objectives add great historic flavour to this battle.Setup – I can understand the USSR placing all the forces on the table they are only going to win by overwhelming the Germans with numbers. Got to remember the historic battle the soviet tankers will have to get close to the Tigers to stop them. The Germans holding back the Mk3’s also make sense as these can go head to head with any of the Soviet units and act as a fire brigade. The game – again great report. The Soviets seeing the German Howitzers on turn 1 and drawing down effective fire on them was a great start for them. We tend to use OBA so the process is a lot slower. Marders always give me a headache - as the German saw in an armour rich environment it is hard to place them – so vulnerable to return fire. In turn 2 I felt for the T70’s looking for the Soviet FO, which can be very frustrating trying to track them down! Turn 3 the static fighting in the middle between the ATG’s, PzlV and T34’s shows the danger of lack of mobility – you end up either flanked or artillery toast! It is good to see that the underrated T70’s found their use protecting the FO, although unfortunately they were destroyed in the process. I liked reading the imaginative use both sides made of light tanks and armoured cars – too often in games I have played in armour heavy environments they have not really found a role, except to hang back until the big boys have done there stuff and then mop up the infantry. Turn 5 showed how effective a single hidden ATG can be in causing fear in enemy tankers – I always love reading about that, works so much better when you have a referee! Fantastic report – an inspiration for all us planning our next games. Thanks for all your hard work in producing it.

Great Report!I enjoyed reading it and noticed all the familiar buildings since I have bought a bunch from Sosna.So....agreed, having lightly armored tank destroyers like Marders are a mixed blessing. Decent gun but unless it's well concealed or escorted they won't last long.I did like too the victory conditions, it makes for an interesting game. And "STAY AWAY" from those damned long barrel 57mm Soviet ATGs. They do more than merely scratch a pretty camo paint job on Panzers. Thanks,Sacha
