Far Aft and Faintly by Mark Klimaszewski (https://faraftandfaintly.com/) is an alternate history novel involving the Royal Netherlands Navy at the start of World War II in the Pacific. It is an entertaining yarn. From the Amazon listing:
Attached are the ship logs and rules, and aircraft capacity additions, for another Dutch OB Campaign Option for Defending the Malay Barrier. These documents allow the three "hybrid battle-carriers" to be included in the campaign. Included are the actual ship logs, rules for handling the "BCVs" in the campaign (many based on Sudden Storm), corresponding modifications to the campaign (e.g. Theater Event and Command Decision tables, and IJN Order of Battle), and suggestions for miniatures to use.
A couple of notes:
- These modifications have in no way been playtested.
- Mini spoiler alert: in the book, the Dutch produce an entire fleet of additional cruiser and destroyer escort ships; these are not included (they would present a huge play balance problem, among other issues).
