Hello all!

What is the standard size of basing used for GQ III?

Thank you!

There is no set base size for GQ3.  Most people base their ships more for protecting the ship details from handling and easing storage.

G' Day David,

As Captain M indicated, there is no set size for basing your ships.  Just use what is confortable for you.  You will find a number of different samples in the photos of miniatures in different scales in GQ 3.3.  I would add that ODGW offers a nice set of clear acrylic bases with etched bow waves and stern wakes for the popular 1:2400 miniatures.  Thre are a nu,mber of useful tips on preparing and basing your ships in the Commissioning section at the front of the rule book.  I have always found it handy to provide a ship name or ID as a small white label at the stern end of the base.  The white lable blends nicely with the wake while providing you a handy means of ID for the ship.  You can see an example on page 1-8.

Best of luck with launching your fleet...or fleets,

LONNIE
