Great AAR. Reminds me of a time with GQ 3 and a destroyer squadron I was "trying" to maneuver. I crossed an enemy destroyer squadron with only one destroyer sunk (lucky) BUT by happenstance the maneuver placed me in perfect position to launch torps against the enemy battleship!!!
