Sand Wars is a miniatures convention that will be taking place in Mesa, AZ, on May 18-19. I will be running a Mein Panzer game there on Saturday starting around noon. There are actually 3 other micro armor games that are scheduled for the convention as well but right now I am the only one hosting Mein Panzer.
If any of you live in the Phoenix area or want to attend you can sign up on the website.

A bit of a haul for me, unfortunately, but it sounds like fun. It would be great to play some microarmor at one of the cons, but one rarely sees it, at least around here. It seems 15mm is far more popular; why, I'm not sure.
Hope you have some good sessions, Peter. What are you playing? North Africa? Northwest Europe?

Fun in the sun and the nitty gritty all at the same time. Sounds great.

Thanks very much, Healey, WMC, and Kenny! I will try to take a fair number of photos while I am there, not only of my game but also some of the others as well. There are 2 other micro armor games scheduled plus a Team Yankee tournament as well as other games.
I will be prepping for my game by running a couple games at Imperial Outpost which is my FLGS in Glendale. I have a Mein Panzer game scheduled for April 13th and one on the 27th to prep for the big one on May 18th.
Here are a few pictures of my Cruisin' for a Bruisin' games from last year including my solo game at home as well as one I did at Imperial Outpost in October.

Actually, I do know why...it's because our old eyes are shot, lol. Only Peter can make a job of painting 1/285 anymore.

Thanks very much, Healey! I do use magnification in order to paint these things as my old eyes can't see quite like they used to.
