Hello,

Section 1.5 states gunnery rate of fire for a three-minute turn. Daylight turns are stated as 6min turns, is there a difference? thank you

James,

The difference in day vs. night turns was a design decision.  It is addressed under SCALE on page vii, at the bottom of page xi and the top of page xii, and there have been posts about it on the forum.  So under 1.5 GUNNERY COMBAT, where it says "Each attack simulates the effect of one battery’s fire at its normal, sustained rate of fire over a three-minute period.", its referring to the firing during a turn, be it a 3-min night turn or a 6-min day turn.

Dave
