Me and my group have been playing with Topside mini's and having a blast but we feel it's time to take the next step into actual miniatures. 3 d printing our own is the way we want to go (it's an excuse to buy and learn how to use a 3D printer)

I'm new to 3D printing but I know enough that I need the files for ships or I have to make my own.

i come to you all asking for advice. Do I set out to making models on my own? If so how do you guys have any tips? Or where do I find files either to buy or for free?

Thank you in advance

There are likely others who are far more experienced with 3D printing and where to find good STL files.  Below are a few sites that may have models you may want to print.

Thank you for the advice. These are the first of many to come. I'm not an artist but I'm very happy with how they turned out.
