Hi,To play this as an armor only scenario I should remove all units except AFV, artillery and all infantry. Am I right? In Russian Deployment it speaks of Russian AT guns. I see German ones listed but not Russian.Am I missing something?Joe

Joe - When I researched this scenario I was looking for a tank heavy battle that was little known. I found this battle as part of the greater push toward Moscow. The exciting thing I found about this battle was one of the first times the Russians utilized the T-34/76 and it was a rude awakening for the Germans.Having said this You certainally can play the scenario with just tanks, but I think this will unbalance the game and might not be as fun. During playtest the German artillery really helped slow the Russian counter attack. So play as you wish, but please post an AAR along with the TOE you use. We'll be glad to hear how it plays out.The missing Russian ATG....I went back to the original research material I gathered for the scenario write up. The original TO&E was very specific and honest to the units that historically participated. The TO&E could use another cleanup especially since WWII is not really my forte'. I know there are a couple of holes esp. in Command. The original TO&E ended up being alot of units to field on the table. The TO&E was trimmed after playtest because of the quanity of miniatures on the table. Unfortuantly the Russian ATG were inadvertantly cut. However the good news is I have the original TO&E as first written. So for your pleasure...**********************************************************Russian Additional TO&E for Battle of Mtensk Scenario4TH Motorized Rifle BattalionBn HQAAMG plt3 Quad AAMGs3 Rifle Coys9 LMGs3 50mm mortars (ea)HMG coy12 HMGsMortar coy 6 82mm mortarsATG Coy4 45mm ATGs4 tractors34th NKVD Border GuardRegiment RHQRecon SectionEngineer Section1 MMG coy12 MMGs1 Mortar coy6 50mm mortars1 PTRD AT Rifle coy6 AT Rifles3 Rifle Coys9 LMGs3 50mm mortars (ea)**********************************************************German Additional TO&E for Battle of Mtensk ScenarioMotorcycle Battalion (attached)Bn HQAssorted MC and Kubelwagons2 SdKfz-261s3 MC Infantry CoyCHQ3 MCs2 KubelwagonsMMG Detachment10 MCs & 2 MMGs3 Infantry Plts2 Kubelwagons16 MCs6 LMGs1 50mm mortar1 MC MG CoyCHQ3 MCs4 Kubelwagons2 MMG Plts2 Kubelwagons18 MCs4 MMGs1 Mortar Plt1 Kubelwagon1 MC9 Kfz-69 Ammo Trucks6 80mm mortars6 ammo trailers1 Heavy CoyCHQ4 MCs2 Kubelwagons1 ATG Plt2 MCs2 Kfz-69 ammo trucks3 Kfz-69 trucks3 Pak-36s1 LMG1 leIG-18 Plt3 MCs1 Kubelwagon2 Kfz-69 ammo trucks3 Kfz-69 trucks3 leIG-18s1 Engineer Plt4 MCs3 Kubelwagons6 2t trucks3 LMGsNote: Most MC had sidecars.Hope this helps.Kenny
