The T34’s crush the outer defences of the village and begin an assault on the mortar positions.

German reinforces unload in the background as the battle for the Krutik becomes house to house.

The fight in the village continues – a platoon of T34’s push forward in the back right of the picture but the veteran Germans and Spaniards infantry make them pay for their boldness.

The T34’s that broke and fled from Flak hill – regroup.

The victorious Mklll’s on Flak hill begin to move into position to engage the T34’s in the Krutik.

A small stream and ravine divides Krutik into two – the Soviets have cleared one side. (there is no report of Krutik having a ravine or stream but this was added for game and balance purposes.)

T34’s on the other side of the ravine keep the Germans suppressed and pinned while the Soviets regroup.

The regrouping T34’s don’t last long and soon rout from the field.

The Soviets attempt an infantry assault around the ravine, but despite close support from the T34's there is too much open ground to cover and it is repulsed.

The Soviets then attempt to assault directly across the ravine but this to fails. The Germans however can not easily counter-attack as the MGs on the T34’s are ever present.

The German Mklll’s are thrown into the Krutik to nullify the Soviet tank advantage.

Battlelines start becoming static as neither side wishes to risk their last few remaining tanks.
