I picked up the rules on the weekend and like what I see. I was wondering how large of battles have people have done with the rules?

I ran a game of Dogger Bank with 4 naval players who had never played FAI or GQ3 before. Within a few moves they were doing most of the work. RN 5 x BCs,7 xCLs and 36 x DDsGN 3 x BCs, 1 x AC, 4 x CLs and 18 x DDsThe game lasted about 3 hours, with 30mins before hand going over the general rules. The game ended with the Germans making for the Jade River having lost a couple of Light Cruisers and a hand full of DDs. The Royal Navy declined to pursue as the result of both Lion and New Zealand both taking damage from torpedos. All players had used GQ1 and 2 over the years and felt that a lot of the issues that put them off using them more often had been addressed.
