It is USS Wasp, not USS Hornet, that should be listed as under attack in the Allied Theater Events for September. How that one got past us I'll never know. There is a download page for this in the Errata category in the TSC area of the Download Library.Note: Not everyone will see this error. We caught it before the saddle-stitched were printed, we hope, and the downloaded versions should be okay.

What if Wasp was sunk/disabled in August? If the Japanese roll the submarine attack against the Wasp, is it a "no effect"? We are about to start the campaign, and this came up.

Since the Theater Event calls out Wasp by name, if Wasp was sunk in August, I'd call it no effect.  If she was disabled or even crippled and is technically out of the campaign, I'd still allow the Theater Event to proceed under the premise the attack is on Wasp headed to Australia or back to Pearl/US for repairs, since ships are worth more VPs sunk than crippled.
