The Amendment 1 ship logs include a sheet for the Wake Island scenario. However, the Hiryu/Soryu listed on this sheet have a different aircraft capacity listed from that on the corresponding Jap Carrier sheet. Can anyone clarify -(1) How aircraft capacities were worked out ?(2) Why the difference listed above ?My thought is that the capacity listed on the Wake Island sheet is the actual air carried by the Hiryu/Soryu at this operation.CheersJoe

Joe, I believe that is exactly the case. The Wake CV info for Hiryu and Soryu reflects what they actually had at that time.Steve

Hiryu and Soryu went straight to Wake Is., with no opportunity to re-arm or replenish. In fact they were limited in their stay and effect by this very reason.
