Torpedoes

In my club we tend to use a 6" x 4" board for our games. As a result we use the CRT charts with 150cm as the max range and we half the speed of each ship. What we are unsure of doing is weather to half the speed of the torpedo or keep it as per the chart.
Help would be ideal!

One thing you should definitely NOT do is scale down some things and not others. Besides, that's also harder!

You should do the scale adjustment as per Aman's suggestion. There are redone CRT's in the Bonus files that list the number of millimeters needed for the 1cm=200yds scale. The scale I generally use with my 1:6000 ships. If you need to play on a smaller space (preferably with smaller ships, say 1/6000 or so) like 6x4, then all you need to do is change the range equivilent. Presently, on a 12x6 table, we use the 1cm=100y and the game fits nicely for night actions (only) and 1/2400 ships. If you just go to a 1cm=200, then all you need to do is divide everything by 100, and divide by 2 (not too bad, really) to scale down the entire game.
