Here I am again asking for ship cards. The 2nd DF formed part of the Grand Fleet from August 1914 till the spring of 1916 so I find myself needing to depict it on the table and I therefore need ship cards for it. I've absolutly no idea what ships were in which division, but it consisted of 5 divisions of 4 ships each of the Acorn class DD (aka H class from October 1913). The armament is as per the I class with a similar displacement but speed is limited to 27 knots.

The ships names of the class are as follows: Acorn, Alarm, Brisk, Sheldrake, Staunch, Cameleon, Comet, Goldfinch, Nemesis, Nereide, Nymphe, Fury, Hope, Larne, Lyra, Martin, Minstrel, Redpole, Rifleman & Ruby.

This is just a suggestion, but if you guys would put together a set of ship cards for the Brits and Germans in August 1914 (particularly the destroyer flotillas), I for one would be willing to pay for the down load and I would not then need to keep bugging you with ship cards requests (or at least it would lessen those requests). I mean to say that you are making the ship cards as I request them as it is; so why not get paid? I've looked at the German TB Flotilla cards and realized that they reflect organization changes and losses that have occured after August 1914 so they are next and I'm more than willing to pay for your time and labor as it just seems right.

If it would help; the HSF had 8 TBF (1-8) on 2 August 1914 comprised of the following DD:
I TBF-1HF-V187, V188, V189, V190, V191 & G197 2HF-G196, G192, G193, G194 & G195
II TBF-3HF-S149, S143, S139, S140, S141 & S142 4HF-S144, S145, S146, S147 & S148
III TBF-5HF-S167, V162, V163, V164, V165 & V166 6HF-G172, S168, S169, G170 & G172
IV TBF-7HF-G113, S119, S115, S116, S117 & S118 8HF-G108, G109, G110, G111 & G112
VTBF-9HF-G12, V6, V2, V3, V4 & V5 10HF-G11, G7, G8, G9 & G10
VI TBF-11HF-V161, V151, V152, V153, V154 & V155 12HF-V156, V157, V158, V159 & V160
VII TBF-13HF-S24, S14, S15, S16, S17 & S18 14HF-S19, S20, S21, S22 & S23
VIII TBF-15HF-G175, S128, S121, S126, S130 & S131 16HF-S176, S177, S179, S120 & G134
The IX TBF was added in October-17HF-V25, V26, V27, V28, V29 & V3 18HF-S31, S32, S33, S34, S35 & S36
It appears that the Germans usually (but not always) renumbered their TBF as new boats were commisioned with the newest forming the I TBF (IX TBF being the first exception). for some reason (possibly because other boat classes were also completing) the B97 and G101 became the II TBF and not I TBF.

The RN had 9 DF, but only 6 were fit for sea duty (the 7th-9th were local patrol at Humber. Forth & Tyne respectively) and the 6th were the Tribals with short legs and assigned to the Dover patrol.
1st DF-20 I Class (Acheron Class) in 5 divisions of 4 DD each led by Fearless GF from August 1914 to November 1916
2nd DF-20 H Class (Acorn Class) in 5 divisions of 4 DD each led by Active GF from August 1914 to April 1916
3rd DF-20 L Class in 5 divisions of 4 DD each led by Amphion Harwich Force Renumbered as 9th DF Fall 1915
4th DF-20 K Class (Acasta Class) in 5 divisions of 4 DD each led by Swift GF from August 1914 to September 1916
5th DF-16 G Class (Beagle Class) in 4 divisions of 4 DD each, no leader assigned Med
6th DF-12 F Class (Tribal Class) in 3 divisions of 4 DD each, no leader Dover Patrol
10th DF-formed August 1914 for Harwich Force and staffed by M Class, Talisman & Greek DD as they completed thru 1915
The Brits would add DF 11th (September 1915), 12th (November 1915), 13th (April 1916) & 14th (June 1916) these were filled with Repeat M Class and various leaders. Heck, they formed a bunch more but why bother by that point.

If you find a WWI Brit/German 1914 DD Flotilla ship card addition as a down load to be a good idea then I hope this helps.
