I have a damage related question, so I decided it would be more suitable here than in the movement forum.
The collision / fouling table contains hull, rigging and sail damage. I do get how hull and rigging work, but I am unable to find any clarification as to how do I handle damage described as "1/2 sail" for example? Do I roll for spar table for each point to determine which sail is damaged?
The rules simply state that "Collision and fouling damage is resolved immediately using the COLLISION DAMAGE table on Chart 2 B.". And this table is the only place where sail damage is mentioned...
